Hide Kawabata has been my friend for a few years.  He is a lover of nature. He hopes for the peace and goodness of the hearts of all people on earth.  He is a spiritual person who gives many words of wisdom even if he thinks his english is poor.  You don't have to know a language well to say a few words to lighten someones heart. Hide can say in few words what some politicians can not say in an hour.  He is truly a giving and insightful spirit.

   Hide's artwork is a reflection of his soul.  It is intricate and detailed and always relates to nature and the spirit of man.  He uses many contour lines that intersect to create visual spaces that he fills with vibrant pattern and color.

    I am an art teacherr of children in the USA.  I have used Hide's work as an example to my students for inspiration.  They have created flowers that his work inspired.  He has sent many calendars and other things for the children so they are inspired by this artist of Japan. I love to paint and so does Hide so there is a common interest.

   Hides work should exhibited in an upscale Gallery in the US to show his
unique style.

   I would like to personally thank Hide for being a friend and a gifted artist.
