I have been following HideKawabata’s paintings for several years.  Although Hide doesn’t have  formal training in painting he is serious about his work.  Hide’s paintings have evolved and changed in the time that I have known him but it is always a joyous celebration of life and all the complexities of each human being.  Through our communications I know that Hide is a man who wants peace and love for the entire world and that his painting is one way of communicating these wishes.
