Mont Saint Michel 's (wave)

:This art has a special meaning for me.  I painted a piano solo scene from the Japanese and Italian film called The Last Concert made in 1976. The story is about the elegant pianist who loses faith in life but gets inspired to play in the orchestra in Paris symphony hall by a girl who is so close to death with leukemia.  While she is listening to a piano concerto composed by her lover, she passes away.   I cried many times because I was so touched by the scene where there were the waves hit the rocks under the blue sky, and the cheau looking building.   The beauty of the music faded away and there was still a gap between the music and picture.  The lover who inspired me and understood my paintings and myself was what I was hoping for. Though, it was a hard work to express the image of the ocean and the beauty of music by painting, I kept painting over and over and it became close to what I wanted.
